What was the motivation behind becoming a dancer?

"I really just kind of fell in to dance. I started when I was 17. Taking classes in private after school while still playing football and training in Martial Arts. It wasn’t until I was coming to the end of year 12 that I knew I didn’t want to go to UNI so I kind of decided that I’d give full-time dance a crack and just see where that took me. I’d been dancing for less than a year when I made this decision, but it’s been one of the best decisions so far. It just grew on me, it’s hard to explain but it was like id found what I was meant to be doing. I’ve always loved a challenge and achievement. So that desire to be the best I can possibly be and try to find and work to my full potential has been a great motivational factor for me."

What exciting projects are on the horizon and how can we see you perform?

"I have just set off on a huge Australian tour with Bangarra Dance Theatre. We will be performing at every capital city over the next 3 months. You can head to the Bangarra website to see dates for our shows. We are celebrating 30 years of the company with a huge triple bill show. It’s not to be missed!"

What destination are you yet to explore, and would love to travel to?

"I’d love to explore more remote Australia. We have this beautiful country right in our own backyard and I’d love to see and learn more about this incredible land.

If we are talking international, I’d love to visit Italy. It has something about it that intrigues me. Also, fashion. I mean they really know how to dress over there."

When you visit us you tend to know exactly what you want us to make for you, how do you get your fashion inspiration?

"I’m always on social media looking at fashion and different looks. When I see something, I like I save it and think about how I can replicate this but for me. I also think about the future and think about how I want to dress when I’m older, so I like to buy quality pieces that are going to last but also versatile pieces that I’m able to mix and match. I’m not flashy I love a classic look with a hint modern."
